What are Google Alerts and how to build links using them

For a long time people around the world have been using Google Alerts to know what is being written or talked about on their favorite topics. I am using the same Google Alerts for marketing, building links and getting more traffic. The basic idea is to quickly build one way back links with no effort and more importantly with the websites or blogs of the same niche or topic which definitely helps in getting targeted traffic as well as helps in increasing your websites Page rank. This method was thought of by keeping in mind the importance of one way back links and relevant back links.

I assume most of us have a Google account which we use for Google services like Adsense, Adwords or even Blogger. Now let’s head towards the Google Alerts page.

Setup Google Alerts

Now just set up Google alerts for each of your keywords for which you want to build one way back links. Do not forget to set the “type to blogs”. You can choose “once a day” or “as it happens” depending on the number of links you want to build. Now setup your keyword for all the keywords you use. The google alerts method definitely helps link building and  increases your website’s page rank by increasing the one way back links and also gradually increases traffic to your website.
