“Swim Across the Pacific Ocean” is what Google maps suggests when you query for directions from China to Taiwan.

Its for real! Google can sometimes be real stupid! Follow the below steps to find out yourself.

Step 1. Go to http://www.maps.google.com

Step 2. Type “China to Taiwan” in the search maps bar on top.

Step 3. Hit Enter.

Step 4. On the left, scroll down to direction # 48
